Heat exchangers

The ABC Hansen manufacturing program includes the manufacture of heat exchangers where gas laden heated air is used to generate clean air for direct introduction into grain for drying.
Heat exchangers are designed in accordance with the amount of air and energy required for the purpose of drying. In this case, the furnace is not used to heat water for steam and is directly applied to the product and requires that all noxious gasses be isolated.
The above depicts a typical 500 ton in-bin drying system with diesel burner, high capacity centrifugal fan and heat exchanger for an on-farm application. The trick here is to exchange the diesel burner for a biomass furnace.
