Description

Vertical die pellet mills take over where the horizontal die pellet mills leave off in terms of capacity – with capacities ranging from 2tons up to 8 tons per hour.

Advantages of vertical die pellet machines over horizontal pellet mills include
1. Higher capacities
2. Longer die land roller ifespan
3. Better compression ratios
4. Better power consumption

This of course comes at a bit of a cost – both in terms of capital cost – with vertical die ring machines being significantly higher priced than horizontal die pellet mills, and in simplicity – vertical pellet mills are much more intricate and more difficult to maintain and service than horizontal pellet mills.

For higher capacities – from 3TPH up to 8TPH – ABC Hansen offers a range of mills with power inputs from 55KW to 110KW and capacities ranging from 3-8T per hour (depending on pellet size, steam addition, product pelleted, moisture content, milled material particle distribution)
