The well known Nogueira Forage Harvester has had a complete makeover – and Nogueira with ABC Hansen has launched this new multipurpose and newly developed forage harvester to the market with a wider harvesting width

The FTN range of forage harvester is specifically manufactured for the producer whoe wants high capacity and excellent performance in the harvesting of maize, sorghum and tall grasses.

Fitted with rotors with chopping blades that quickly cut up and reduce forage – running this through its wide, row independant cutting width.

The FTN2300 has a twin rotor configuration  with front drums and alligners. The FTN2300 is able to harvest 3 rows at a time (based on 90cm maize row spacing) and the FTN1000 is able to harvest 2 rows at a time (based on 90cm row spacing)

Both models have hydraulic control on the discharge chute – allowing for accurate discharge to trailers and wagons.

The cutting system is also fitted with a screen before discharge, ensuring that a uniform end product is produced – which is essential for producing a high quality silage with high nutritional value and optimal compaction characteristics.

Both models have integrated blade sharpening stones – making sharpening the blades quick and easy, and ensuring that you always have peak performance on your cutting.

The cutting size is easily adjustable, by adjusting the infeed speed of the rollers pushing the material into the blades, and can be adjusted from 2mm fibre lengths up to 36mm fibre lengths – depending on the crop harvested, and the requirements of the user.

Note –
FTN1000 is offered only as a rear-side couple configuration –  that is mounted to the rear three point linkage of the tractor
FTN2300  is offered only as a  front coupling – and a suitable tractor with front power take off (PTO) and linkage – for easier maneuvering and optimized harvesting.
