The rental rate is per day for the machine, and is subject to terms and conditions.
The retail rate is the base rate per day and excludes:
1. Petrol to be supplied by client for engine
2. Delivery to and collection from the site – the machine must be delivered by ABC Hansen to the site (Charged @ R16.50 ex VAT per km from Pretoria)
3. Excludes a holding deposit on your credit card – equal to 3 days rental.

Documents to be submitted for rental application:
1. CIPRO documentation for company renting the equipment
2. Identity documents of all directors of the company
3. Proof of residence of the company.
4. Proof of residence of the directors of the company
5. Full address or GPS location of where the goods will be used and/or stored during rental period
6. Signed terms and conditions of rental
7. Signed consent for credit check
8. Copy of the entity’s VAT certificate
For rental – a 219mm x 9m length mobile auger is offered only – with a underslung petrol motor drive.
Mobile augers are used as a flexible alternative to other handling systems.
By using a mobile auger – multiple silos can be loaded and unloaded, using a single conveyor, that can be moved betweeen the silos, for both loading and unloading
Mobile augers can also be moved between sites – allowing for a single conveyor to service multiple sites on an operation.
Refer to the drawings – for standard lengths and for reach distances – lengths available are from 10m to 22m meter.
Motor placement is dependant on the length of the auger – for shorter augers – a head drive configuration is preferable, whilst for longer augers, a boot drive configuration is installed, with a shaft running on the top of the auger to a reduction gearbox at the head.
The lifting of the auger is as standard done with a hand winch running a cable and pulley system, but as optional – motorised hydraulic winches can also be offered.
The open bottom intake provides maxium capacity for the auger – and standard RPM on the flighting is 360RPM to achieve the capacity of 40TPH on the 219mm model.
Ons special order – we are also able to produce mobile augers in the 165mm range (15TPH) and 273mm range (75TPH)
The auger is mounted on 2 x 13″ pneumatic tyres, to ease movement and maneuvering of the auger – even over rougher terrain.
The 219mm model as standard has galvanized auger tubing sections – that are connected with clamps.
Currently the mobile auger is only offered for sale with an electric drive.
