There are two factors that dramatically influence the grain in your silo – especially for longer term storage.
The first is – what you get in, is what you get out – so you need to know what you’re putting into the silo – by knowing your moisture content and the quality of the grain being loaded into the silo.
We achieve this by checking the moisture content of the grain loaded, and by taking samples of the materials being brought in
The second is protecting and monitoring your grain in your silo while it is in storage – regarding insect and moisture activity, temperature and then selecting the correct times for aeration – which are done with sensors in the silo.
Stock level monitoring is also important – to know how much grain is in the silo, and to monitor any movements of grain in and out of the silo – to have effective control over your commodity.

GRAIN STORAGE & HANDLING SOLUTIONS
why buy a silo?
The biggest advantage of having your own silo is that you can sell you grain on your terms.
A silo gives you the option to ride out the downs in the market, and sell when the price is right for you, without paying the rates that the cooperation charges you for storage and unloading.
