Description
The 3D Volume Scanner by Procer – is an in silo, laser volume measuring device – specifically designed for in silo volume measuring.
This is an invaluable tool for all grain storage facilities – and with Procer – it integrates into the Ceres Web platform seamlessly.
The Procer 3D Scanner and invetory management tools, give you control over your inventory in your silos, at the touch of a button.
The 3D scanner integrated with the Ceres software, give realtime insights into the situation in the silo, and gives realtime stock reports, with variance reports – ensuring three things.
1. Secure your grain – and be aware of unauthorised movements of grain into or out of your silos
2. Provide consistant stock reports for the operator, so that you are always aware of how much grain you have available to sell or trade.
3. A reconcilliation of stock between the weighbridge system and the actual stock in the silo – quickly tracing any discrepencies in the weighbridge operations.
The Procer 3D scanner offers the following advantages over other types of bulk stock systems
A. Easy installation – from the roof of the silo, the system can be installed at any time- whether the silo if full or empty – minimising installation costs
B. Self cleaning lens – The scannes is equipped with a cleaning function, where the scanner will detect if the lens is dirty, and will then run through a cleaning cycle to clean the lens and ensure optimal and accurate readings
C. Detailed mapping of the surface area of the grain – regardless of the loading phase, or shape of the grain pile in the silo – with 350 different points mapped for each measurement.
The Ceres software has pre-programmed algorithms for the calculation of a wide variety of grains – as each grain’s physical properties differ – depending on type, density and grade etc.
The 3D Scanner by Procer has automatic detection of steel (for silo sidewalls) and has dust compensation built into the system – to prevent misreadings of the volumes due to reading silo sidewalls, or due to readings of dust particles in the air instead of the grain heap.
The 3D Scanners is suitable for nearly all bins – with a maximum measuring distance of 30meters.
The unit calculates the grain volume, by taking 350 measurements in the silo – to create an accurate map of the grain heap, and to then calculate the volume of stored grain.
