Description
The ABC Hansen 150×500 centrifugal oil filter is a must as a first process in any oil cleaning process – as it provides a first filtering stage for expelled oil, removing the gross of the solid particles from the oil, in a continuous and self cleaning process, before the oil is pumped to the paper filter press – reducing stress on the paper filter press, increasing it’s capacity and efficiency, and reducing the required paper changes on the paper filter press.

The centrifugal oil filter works on the principle of centrifugal forces – as the oil (or any other liquid) flows through the barrel of the separator (that rotates at 3,000RPM) it is forced against the side of the barrel by the centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the barrel.
The heavier particles are then forced towards the inner wall of the barrel, where a spiral then moves the solid particles towards the solid waste discharge. The liquid which does not get moved by the spirals inside the barrel then flows towards the clean product discharge.
The separator can remove particles from liquids from 10 microns particle size and upwards.
An adjustable heated inlet drum ensures that the product enters the barrel at the correct viscosity for optimal separation.
Note: Capacities and efficiencies are based on certain limiting factors, such as liquid type, solids particle size and type, solid particles content and others.
