Description
ABC Hansen has developed a highly accurate dosing unit – for adding micro ingredients in a milling process, or in a feed milling process- usually at the end of the process – to enrich the produced meal or flour with micro ingredients such as vitamins and minerals – for producing fortified flours and meals – as is required in some areas and contracts.
The dosing unit, has a hopper with a capacity of up to 10kg, and is discharged with a screw feeder, that is coupled to a variable frequency drive.
The dosing unit can be set to dose as little as 15 grams per minute upwards – and the hopper construction allows for a wide variety of products, and sharp angles as well as an agitator fitted to the screw conveyor shaft prevents bridging in the hopper, and the resulting under-dosing.
The doser is finished with #316 stainless contact parts to prevent contamination and to comply with food safety regulations.
