Description
The ABC Hansen Mini Plansifter is an 8-10 stage, single plansifter, with a capacity of between 600kg and 1500kg per hour, for sifting and grading various free flowing, granular products.
The plansifter has three discharges, being overs, unders and throughs – or can be set up for 2 separations in a 5 stage sifter.
Screen sizes that can be fitted range from 180micron to 3000micron, with options of stainless steel screens, or nylon screens. Screen frames are fitted with screen cleaners – either bristle pads or belting pads – depending on the application.
The sifting action is an oscillating action, that is achieved with a lead weighted eccentric shaft, that shakes the entire sifter box, which is mounted onto flexible fibreglass rods, in a progressive circular motion, for optimal distribution of the product of the screens, and for quick flow over the screens to the next stages.
The sifter is as standard mounted onto a high strength frame – for free standing use applications to allow for bagging off from the sifter directly, or conveyance from the sifter via inclined or horizontal augers and includes two square tubing braces to each side that are mounted at 45º angles, to ensure that the frame stays stationary while the sifting box oscillates within the frame, for optimal machine lifespan.
