Description
The most essential part of the mill is the millstone, which is perfect for grinding of healthy, organic wholemeal flour. The quality of the millstone is decisive both for the grinding capacity of the mill and the quality of the ground product.
ENGSKO artificial millstones are a result of practical experience gained during more than 100 years of production.
The ENGSKO Seal of Quality – Your Guarantee for the Original Millstone
There are many imitations, but only one original. Therefore, look for the ENGSKO seal of quality cast in the rear side of the stone. Today’s special design of the Engsko artificial mill stones is a result of practical experience gained during more than 100 years of production.
Stone Sizes
Mill stones kept in stock are 280mm, 600mm and 950mm stones and are composed of particularly high quality European stone materials.
Dressing of stones
After many hours of production with your Engsko A/S stonemill, the millstones will display some degree of wear. This will typically be after more than 550 ton of flour has been produced on the mill.
The below You Tube video shows you the necessary tools and how-to-do in 5 easy steps. No use of dye and refitting of the stones is necessary during the re-dressing.
The grooves in the stone have a depth of 8mm when manufactured. To avoid decreasing capacity on your mill, the stones should be re-dressed when the grooves reach a depth of 5mm. A 950mm Engsko stone can be re-dressed 6 to 8 times, depending on the nature of your operation.
