Description
A weather station is a great tool to have in any grain storage complex – and on any farm.
The weather station measures the following:
- Relative Humidity (0%-100%)
- Temperature (-40ºc – 90ºC)
- Rain guage (0.2mm accuracy)
- Anemometer (windspeed) with 0.1m/second accuracy
The weather station is a standalone unit – that once again connects wirelessly to the silo control system or aeration automation system – and it can be placed nearly anywhere – as it comes with it’s own 6V 3W solar panel to power the entire unit.
All the data can be viewed realtime (and historic data) on the Ceres Web platform
The weather station also has an integrated API module, whereby through local geo positioning, it is able to obtain weather forecasts for the next few days, which helps the operators decision making for planting, harvesting and drying.
The weather station feeds the current weather information directly to your aeration automation system, where it is interpreted and fed into the parameters, to ensure that you are aerating at optimal conditions.
The weather station also keeps a history of weather with auto generated grapsh and tables – showing the history of weather over long timeframes, including rainfall
