Due to the season that we’ve been having – ABC Hansen Africa is offering a option for the upgrading of grain harvests with our tried and tested Weaver Cleaner – in a no civils, quick installation package.
The Weaver cleaner is a gravity type cleaner (also sometimes known as a Zig-Zag cleaner) – that works with gravity, flowing the grain over a succession of screens, to remove the fine particles from grain. The Weaver cleaner is as standard fitted with a 4.5mmx4.5mm square hole wire mesh, to remove all particles smaller than 6mm (6.35mm being the grading screen for maize) – thus ensuring that all broken kernels, and undersized kernels are removed from your grain, before you deliver to the silos.
The setup is available in either a 40TPH or an 80TPH setup – and is basically as follows:
- Standard reception bin – 3m width
- A loading auger for transporting the grain from the reception bin to the cleaner (219mm / 273mm)
- A Weaver cleaner, mounted on a steel frame (40T / 80T)
- An cleaned product unload auger – 6m length – to discharge to waiting trailers, (219mm / 273mm)
- A 3m trash unload auger, to discharge the screened material to a ton bag (can be upgraded to discharge to a trailer)
