Hippo Pygmy Hammer mill and silage/garden refuse chopper – GEN3
The Hippo Pygmy hammer mill/silage chopper is the smallest mill in our milling range. The simple construction and operation and affordable price makes this mill ideal mill for small holders and startup business’s. The mill can be set, to either run as a hammer mill, with infeed from a hopper at the top, milling through a screen, and the milled product dropping out the side of the machine.
If set up as a silage chopper, a blanked out screen is fitted, and the outlet chute is opened, and then the silage is fed in through the side inlet of the mill, where it is chopped by two blades fitted onto the rotor. The blades and the hammer mill tips are replaceable when they get worn.|
The Hippo Pygmy is available in two rive options
1) Single phase (220V) 1.5KW, 2800RPM direct drive
2) 4HP Hyundai H212 petrol
